PROJECT BRIEF

Sphere Architects were commissioned to transform the existing semi-detached house along Walmesley Road into a modern spacious house. The existing living space to the rear was dark and enclosed. The garage to the side was unused space and the front of the house was dated.

The proposed design was to replace the existing main roof, to line the garage through with the proposed porch and change the flat roof at the front to a pitched roof. Additional changes were to extend to the rear of the house, remove internal walls and add additional glazing to create a light open space for living.
