PROJECT BRIEF
Beechside Residential Care Home is a large sandstone 40 bed care home in Liverpool. The existing care home had a brick built extension added at a later date which was not sympathetic to the original building.

The brief was to create additional bedrooms and living space to the existing care home also to unit the proposed extension with the existing extension. Planning was approved for the proposed extension /façade.

PROJECT BRIEF
Following on from the planning approval for the proposed extension to the care home at Beech Lane Liverpool the client appointed Sphere Architects to obtain planning permission to convert part of the care home into a nursery for 30 children. Part of the existing care home layout was adapted to facilitate the nursery. External canopies and signage were proposed on the external elevations.
